Maybe some wet flakes mix in, but we may stay exclusively rain as well. Prolonged gusty winds likely the bigger story here. Much better chances to see wet accumulating snow tonight south of I-70 and east of I-25 (better dynamics, higher elevation), up to a few inches #COWX

We review how the storm unfolded, the snowfall totals, and look ahead to an extended stretch of warm and sunny weather inbound: bouldercast.com/winter-storm...

Further south than even that doesn't inspire confidence for much snow in the northern Metro tonight...

We're not talking a lot further south, but just a few tens of miles could make a big difference for the Boulder-Denver area where a sharp gradient of snowfall is expected. Keep in mind, the Euro was already one of the least snowy models for this evening.

Wishful thinking. If you like it that cold! R just indicates a record was set.

Could be yeah. A few days ago it would have seemed possible to have back-to-back nights sub-zero. Still may happen in some spots, but not widespread.

Wed night will likely not be below zero here, except maybe a few spots way out northeast. Should be 5-10 degrees warmer than last night.

Short-range models are edging things further south, which won't matter too much for Boulder/Denver as it stands now. However, Ft. Collins needs to keep a close eye on the evolving evening forecast... #COWX
