Unfortunately yes, those workers are at risk. But Trump and Musk have never gone up against Federal Unions before. They really don't know who they are dealing with. I worked for the State of MA and the unions were formidable during times of layoffs.

They will all be reinstated once the courts get involved as they have union protections. This is just a big show for Trump and Musk. Plus many may get financial compensation too.
