Murdoch was burned by Putin about 20 years ago, he has a long memory and isn't about to forget. I remember lots of pictures of Rupert Murdoch meeting Putin about the same time as Tony Blair was trying to bring about realignment between NATO and Russia.

I don't think this is limited to the Internet but instead dates back to media consolidation which has destroyed Local coverage in many democratic nations. It is very easy to feel forgotten if the media you read does not reflect your daily experience. Representatives need to be seen to represent.

This same principal applies in Modern day Israel too. You can declare you favour a 2 state solution but for that even to be possible you have to define the borders and it is very hard to see either side conceding their own border claims. Palestine is a paper state lacking a real world form.

Is this why Windows 11 keeps pushing United Healthcare's Share Price at Me? Honestly I like their start bar gives me the weather but the rest of is pure overreach.

I can buy in to the rejoin movement but I still don't understand how you plan to get round the Veto's that will block the EU. Orban would seem to have particular interest in keeping the UK on the periphery and timing wise Spain claims over Gibraltar raise questions too.

Trump's Cabinet keep talking about a Golden Age Which to me refers to the Era of the Virgin Queen Elizabeth I, When combined with this video I realise Trump is the Incel Queen.

No matter what the Harmsworth's will be French for tax purposes that is until the Non Dom Status is Properly abolished then they will have to make a choice. Next to tackle offshore licensing of overvalued corporate services to minimise corporation tax.

In a world of Global Trade, improving relations with a country we are a major importer from, isn't a bad idea. I do think this could serve as the media distraction needed whilst Government Trade Negotiators try to reopen sections of the EU.

I have to admit if I was Starmer I would be calling out the wealthy owners of those Papers stressing their Avoidance of UK Taxes and holding a Vote of Confidence in the Government in the Commons. And then get back to the job. I wonder why Frederick Barclay is interested in distracting Starmer.

Simplicity of Enforcement is always best and I think this is one of the areas where there should be as little doubt as possible whether a suspicion should be reported.

A big dispute I had in the other place was based on the inability of someone to understand the CPS and Police aren't under the same reporting line to the executive. The Home Office and Director of Public Prosecutions being under different cabinet ministers maintaining separate accountability.

4 of them are wealthy disruptors and Lee Anderson is a Wannabe. The disruption of the system was the plan. Lowe had 6 names to read out, it's not that he wasn't capable, it is that he doesn't care if it gets entered in Hansard.

Austerity is the only answer in the mind of the PPE Graduate from Oxford University. Nick Robinson and Rachel Reeves have that in common. As do Hunt, Sunak, Truss, Stride, Balls, Cooper, Miliband etc. Austerity is an Oxford Death Cult.

True, They're not even aiming for Senate confirmation because DOGE is an influence racket. Musk wouldn't be interested if it was a proper role where he'd need to at least artificially divest his interests.

Musk Is famous for hiring able people and then fronting up for their achievements. What he does well is get them the finance they need to achieve the goals.

Are Fenway selling? I don't think so. He could buy Reading FC though if he really want's a club and if he builds it to Liverpool's standards he would Achieve a greater cult than taking over an established team ever would. He might have ideological issues in both areas.

When the corporation that bought Myspace and lost it's userbase to Facebook celebrates anything they do you have to be cynical. Bezos has made many Washington Post staff redundant, and I'm guessing AWS can offer something. But Bezos will be focused on his Blue Origin Test Launch this week.

If you read the McLibel ruling from the ECHR, It basically says we have wider scope to criticise big companies and their owners. I think Musk wanted to sue someone in the UK for what they said about Twitter and then discovered Starmer had argued this into law so he couldn't.

Where does Tate think he can land without being arrested? I guess he can stand from Prison, but I don't think he could achieve the popularity of Bobby Sands to do that.

Whilst Chairman Rupert would have been responsible for converting the old Youth system into an academy one. So the potential is there they might have actually done a Review and if he did he gains a lot of credibility on the Subject. If he did the minimum then that's the hypocrisy I object to.

His candidate is interesting considering the vulnerabilities of Rupert Lowe.

@lbc.co.uk have kindly kept Boris Johnsons 2019 interview online for all of us to review. Kemi Badenoch, Chris Philp and Robert Jenrick all accepted Collective responsibility when they took posts in his Government. www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_FS...

We will remember that at the beginning of 2019 Boris Johnson went on LBC and said it was "SPAFFING cash up the wall" to investigate historical crimes. And then in November 2019 Farage withdrew Brexit Candidates in order to KEEP Boris Johnson in office.

Before the xenoophobia, What was Jenrick's Job in Government? He was Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for two years. Literally dealing with Local Authorities was HIS job. And then he was Immigration minister. Does Jenrick like embarrassing himself? what a fool.

HAHAHA, you always believe it comes back to looks. Where as, I watch to enjoy the performance of your discussion about "what a bread roll is?" or "Italian foods best eaten cold" as you play Football Manager hoping to pick up tips.

Ah Maye Musk, The Canadian born US citizen who has a son who is ineligible to be US President so found a senile meat puppet.

Was always going to come to the point where consumerism, landlordism and privatised utilities would break Thatcher's Free Market and the Media would struggle to understand why their heroes have failed. The state stepped out and the greed stepped in.

Yes but this is just the oligarchy grabbing the tools of the NRA, AIPAC and "Moral Majority" movements. The Supreme Courts Citizens United decision made this possible but fear of Lobby groups has long been a threat to Representative independence.

I conclude our media is broken, Starmer has 402 MPs he can tolerate 77 rebels in his party before his position even comes close to being in doubt. Private school educated columnists would seem to have a larger incentive than Labour MPs who need Starmer's idea to pan out.

Another boomer who doesn't understand the lessons from the late 1930s. Even Churchill for all his faults understood that we must have an asylum system. I, for one, never forget that Jewish People were denied asylum in the UK and other Countries when fleeing the Nazi regime.

I wonder how much adult care that £10K tax deal Jenrick made would have added to Tower Hamlets. I imagine the over £100m revenue it might have raised would have been somewhat a benefit to those who might be considering assisted suicide in that area.

Same old INEOS doing INEOS things. I suppose they've got to meet the Glazer's dividend expectation somehow especially after the Ten Haag severance and the potential to miss out on European competition money.

Sad thing is Musk like Bezos has no intention of going off planet, they know a space factory or Mars in particular will be a hellish existence for those that go and that return to Earth would be near impossible, biologically. They will, however, require other humans to make those sacrifices.
