The Trump Administration has no Honor. Despicable! (Not in a Gru way) Call Congress: Tell them you don’t want Trump soiling US foreign relations & hurting Allies Urge them to vote “NO” on the provisions that help Trump become a dictator & usurps Congress’ powers Peacefully protest June 14.

Needs Congressional oversight and restrictions NOW! SCOTUS is ineffectual. Call Republican Congress members & urge them to restrict access by DOGE. Peacefully protest en-masse on June 14. Send a clear message to Repubs & Trump!

Then why did Repubs let DOGE do the following without oversight? 1) access dabases housing American’s PII 2) install AI bots giving erroneous information 3) fire Agency staff who had expertise in the matters being analyzed 4) remove & exchange contracts for working systems with Musk’s products

Treat people with respect and dignity and all is well.

Absolutely: Military targeted by Ukraine drones versus civilians targeted by Russian missile strikes. Which is “dirty”? Call Senators & urge them to put defensive aid for Ukraine into the spending bill. Urge them to vote “NO” on provisions that usurp powers of Congress & courts to oversee Trump.

Yes, the science missions are extremely beneficial to the public and an efficient use of financial resources at NASA.

Yet another Representative to be voted out of office.

The evidence about cool roofs is clear. All other things being equal, it will reduce urban heat island effect & cooling costs. The insulation argument has merit, but is likely more costly & more difficult to increase R-value than to change to a cool-roof material. Note: a metal roof is recyclable.

No, a J.D. is an advanced degree without requirements for original research. It may be called a doctorate, but it is not equivalent to a Ph.D. that requires a dissertation or even many Master’s degrees that require a thesis. Apples versus oranges.

Had to look up that television drama. Didn’t score too high on ratings, it seems. Another similarity with the President I suppose. On a serious note: Please call Repub Senators to STOP the BBB. It is written to usurp Congress’ & courts powers. Awful bill itemized: www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Reality show indeed! The Administration is defined by entertainers & under-qualified self-servers. The Repub majority Congress will do real & lasting damage if we let the BBB pass. Call your Repub senators & urge them to vote “NO” on the bill. Awful bill itemized: www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Yes. Call. Urge Senators to vote “NO” on the big ugly spending bill that is intended to also: 1) help make Trump a dictator by removing oversight powers of Congress & courts 2) give public land/sea rights to polluting industries without public say-so Check the list: www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Thank you. Thermal insulation is an inexpensive way to decrease energy demand. Please consider: 1) increasing R-value requirements for all new residential & commercial building projects 2) Help consumers with energy audits & cost for insulation retrofits 3) upgrade transmission infrastructure.

About hearings, the minority party is limited in calling hearings. If you call Congress, urge the MAJORITY party (Repubs) to hold them. “the Democratic minority held shadow hearings…their inability to define the agendas of hearings under the Republican majority” en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_...

Software is quality tested by a team & then beta-tested by a small group BEFORE unleashing it on the world. With matters as important & life changing as VA contracts, allowing the Trump Admin to unleash a few inexperienced DOGE engineers on important matters seems irresponsible. Call Repub Congress

Distraction from the damaging BBB & project 2025! The BBB has provisions to usurp Congress & courts of Constitutionally given powers of Executive oversight. Don’t be distracted from the goal of stopping wannabe dictator Trump. Keep calling senators to urge them to vote “NO” on the big awful bill!

The feud is a distraction from the real damage being done by the BBB, project 2025, all the federal worker cuts, all the Agency cuts and changes, ICE, Trump’s Tariffs, shady deals, etc. Let’s keep our eyes on the prize to turn over the House & Senate!

If cars are used, EV is best 1) no toxic pollutants from vehicle 2) no green house gas (GHG) emissions from vehicle. The climate crisis we feel is caused by GHGs 3) EVs are at least twice as energy efficient 4) the li-ion batteries ARE recycled 5) oil extraction, processing & use pollutes air & water
comment in response to post
“best to not let the perfect be the enemy of the good” Absolutely! Oil extraction, processing, delivery & use are energy intensive, expensive, & polluting. The over $120B to cleanup after Deep Water Horizon would have paid for wind turbines to power a large portion of America with clean energy.

Just because EVs are on the ship does not mean one is a SOURCE of the fire: “The Morning Midas was carrying 3,000 cars, including 800 electric vehicles” ALL burning vehicles produce toxic gases. The plastics, rubber, tires, electronics, oil, & gasoline produce toxic air pollutants. Ecological mess!
