Interests include politics, sports, and painting Warhammer 40k models. Oh, and it'd be great if we could do something about income inequality and the impending fascism. Yeah...

Wonder if Tom is still finger wagging at people for using the term fascism.

The amount of bootlicking Rubin and Morgan do during this interview, sucking Musk off multiple times, is pretty nauseating.
Well done, Gary.

I'm sure there are others, and we should try to do a better job propping them up when they do so.
@whitehouse.senate.gov has been doing a pretty great job for years now (and has been vocal in the past weeks as well)

Many such moments exist, but Citizens United was a moment where people should have filled the streets in protest.
I wasn't activated by politics at that time. I don't recall anyone even talking about it.

A lot of men have sex with women despite hating them and actively working towards making them second-class citizens.

If you are at an event where someone on stage gives a Hitler salute and that person is not dragged off by security and kicked out, you are at a Nazi rally.

Whatever calculus you think you're supporting here, if it ends up with Putin coming out the loser, Trump won't be doing it, so...

Trump is a pathetic loser, and I'm glad she stood up to him.
People need to be prepared to clap and cheer the next time he's handed his ass like that.

I appreciated both the "coffin flop" reference and the embedded Chris Cornell article.
As much as I loved Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and the rest of those bands, Soundgarden (and Temple of the Dog) are the grunge albums I find myself listening to the most all these years later.

I suppose what I'm pointing out is: if we activate those that stay home, we can counter this anti-science, anti-reality movement that's currently taking a sledgehammer to our institutions, constitution, and democracy.

It does appear to be the main issue, though it may be useful to realize that the significant untethered portion is around 23% of Americans (29% of voting aged Americans). 77million Americans (out of 340million) has led us here.
75million Americans DID NOT choose this, and all the rest didn't vote.

I'm not able to peer through the paywall, but the credible evidence appears to be everything that's happened from 2016 till now.
Regardless, we can't build a time machine and go back and warn everyone. Trump has aligned with Putin over our allies IN THE PRESENT.

It does seem to matter that our information ecosystems are 100% fractured and GOP voters are being served lighting fast narrative building lies to manufacture consent.
I tried to talk to my dad last night (he brought up how Trump was ending govt waste) and he's just...untethered from reality.
