Stephen Miller called the protests in Los Angeles "an insurrection against the laws and sovereignty of the United States"—a tyrannical accusation from an administration that deliberately orchestrated a coup.

Los Angeles looks a like a warzone right now. Trump has deployed ICE agents in full tactical gear driving armored vehicles and carrying riot shields, rifles, shotguns, and more. Citizens are being hit with tear gas and being thrown to the ground. It’s horrific.

The People of Los Angeles forced ICE to fucking barricade themselves inside the federal building until the LAPD could intervene. The People of Los Angeles are Heroes and weren't even wearing masks! We can fight them. We must.

L.A. is a Mexican-American city. The majority of the population is made up of racial and ethnic minorities. We are all happy living together and really do not want to see our friends, neighbors and families being terrorized by federal robo-cops. This is bullshit.

I stand with the protesters in LA. Fuck this shit.

Feeling deep sadness for all the weenies who were like I’m not gonna watch an Indiana–OKC Finals because I hate thrills and fun basketball and only care about GOAT debates.

On ESPN they seemed positively sad the Indiana Pacers won. I'm going to start watching the games in Korean, because they are HYPE

devastating night for the pearl-clutching small-market/NBA ratings crowd

Indiana committed 25 turnovers tonight, the most by a team in an NBA Finals win since the Blazers in 1977 (27, Game 6).

You gotta be shitting me, Tyrese

buddy I haven't seen Haliburton fuck up the south like this since the Deepwater Horizon

NBA teams were 0-121 when down by 7 or more points in the final 3 minutes of regulation in the NBA Finals over the last 28 postseasons. They are now 1-121.

night night

That was an utterly absurd basketball game.

The thing about the Indiana Pacers is, they'll rip out your still-beating heart and they'll hold it up in front of your face while softly singing you a lullaby.

The thing about the Indiana Pacers is, they're psychotic killers who will not under any circumstances stop coming for you and your family.

Every day that this horror continues, I think of Omar El Akkad's tweet: "One day, when it’s safe, when there’s no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it’s too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this."
