Yeah lol.
For me, it’s also just the fact that irrespective of the holiday, it’s annoying that it took this long to confirm Canadian pricing. Especially when we had a lot of people asking us and all I could do is just keep reaching out.
But I can see why they waited since it’s crazy expensive!

Given that Bloom is known for the feel-good dating sims LongStory & Later Daters, it's fascinating to hear how they approached finding the humanity in characters you wouldn't necessarily view as down-to-earth & relatable: Disney villains. ‪I said it in my South of Midnight review, but I really believe that on top of the genuinely meaningful representation, more “AAA” games should wholly unique aesthetics like this does. It’s a beautiful style that will stand the test of time vs. photorealistic games with same-y orchestral scores.‬

Oh totally. While not without its bloat, I appreciate that extra time to flesh that out. It really puts a human face to the people and world you're fighting for. Especially the chapter with Jessie and her family.

I do prefer Rebirth but I totally get what you're saying.
There really is a novel "magic" to Remake as this grand return to the world of VII that won't ever be completely recaptured for me. The fact that it came just a few weeks into the start of the pandemic only heightened the emotions.
