Wasn’t sure if I’d get back into this book but it’s getting pretty good. I just read an interesting part; “Be wise like the snake.” It was sort of like how I interpret animism, drawing wisdom from animals that don’t need faith to live. They just do it. Maybe I can too. #TheYearOfTheFlood

I have 2. I liked when Elphaba did her dance cuz it made me sad, but also I generally liked the idea that animals could speak and teach until some humans captured them and stripped them of their agency. It was a cool way to take something somewhat real and make it fantastical
