Not a boomer take, but one I definitely dnt understand. Hearing loss and tinnitus sucks. Both at the same time can be torture, and there may not be a way to get rid tinnitus ever.

You just uncovered a memory I had forgotten, that when the wind was right I could very distinctly hear football practice at Highland View (my parents didn't let me play football and my friends played)

Yeah, I cannot imagine growing up that anyone who lived nearby didn't understand that living next to a school meant noise during school hours (and sometimes after hours!) It boggles my mind that they even have to ask permission. I'm very rarely one to say this, but that's overregulation.

Hey @blazercollector.bsky.social: could you boost this post to your collector circles? I know it's not much, but if it helps get a single kid to a Blazers game it will be worth it 🙏

I super appreciate your support! Thank you. I haven't written a "my column" basketball column in a long time, and I do want to do more of them... even though it feels a little cringy, the only way to do them is to do them, and the encouragement is felt and appreciated 🏀💟

A thought I found myself having when we chatted with Ben Golliver: cringing at our old stuff is good, actually, because it means we're getting better!

It inspired me to write a column about what you said at the end... no promises that it's any good, but it will exist

I had a soft spot for the 91-92 Topps Stadium Club because they were so clean, but yeah I think that year's Skybox is the GOAT
