I was sexually assaulted by a staffer at this facility as a fifteen year old. I had been "rescued" from a hotel room I was sharing with a slightly older foreign national. Some of my family members have had so much filler, Ozempic, and fake tanning they'd fit in at Mar-a-Lago. A few have really obvious (badly shaped) blinding white veneers. They're all 115 lbs., unnaturally dark orange, have weird mouths, and the women's lips look painful and kind of grotesque.

The other grandchildren didn't get to see Nene Dar before she passed. The whole point of today was for everyone to see her one last time. Yesterday was her 81st birthday. Dad's been up nearly thirty hours, and he's been a champ. I can tell he's conflicted, regretful, and uncertain though. Lord.

I'm going to Harlan with Dad to see Nene. It won't be in her old house where my Dad grew up or I spent summers. She's apparently suffered a stroke and is drawn and "clawed up" on one side. She has a full team, and I am going so I don't have any regrets when she's gone. I feel so bad for Dad.
