I dont even think I ever saw the concept! I think at some point we tried adding a bit more of the warmer colors but with the scene lighting and everything, it evolved into the bluer colors in the background? 💙

Curious to read the blog post! Are the shorelines/intersection distance field based? I'm under the impression you're doing something else but I could be wrong! 👀 Are you using the Single Layer Water or is it a translucent mesh?

I think what would give you the most mileage would be adding fake glow(maybe as a second texture in your material that added on top), some additional fake lighting and maybe extra impact on the final punch ✨ After that, maybe add some taper to trail as time passes/color fade 🤔

I'd be happy to give a couple pointers if ever! It's been a bit since I've done weapon trails but theres always some cool stuff you can play around! I'd be curious to see what it would look like with a bit of lighting/fake bloom around the character if you want to play with it a bit more 👀
