How does the model deal with injuries? Arsenal don’t look like scoring 2 v an avg PL team anytime soon, with virtually all their forwards out
comment in response to post
No FH29 here, so 2nd option pls!

Great pick!

Errrr

Is Nkunku even going to start?
comment in response to post
I’ve changed my mind on it 3 times already today.
comment in response to post
Is it that easy? He’s home to Saints but in such poor form. Newcastle defence not exactly watertight.

Isn’t it comparing the 2?
comment in response to post
Brilliant 😂

Ah, that makes sense of it! Perhaps we need to set up some mirror accounts like @fabrizioromano.yopro20.com until they start behaving.
comment in response to post
Yeah, weird behaviour from FFS. Fortunately the excellent @peireweust.bsky.social has posted them.

Superb stuff as usual, thank you

And Everton v Chelsea had already been confirmed for BGW34
comment in response to post
My thoughts exactly
comment in response to post
That’s a ridiculous response & you know it. If that were the explanation it would show equally in the stats for the other referees, but it doesn’t. Such a significant bias for an individual ref over 50+ matches raises real questions.

More reds and more yellows and more penalties against, and also fewest penalties for. You can write all that off as sheer coincidence if you want, but if you give it a moment's thought it is at least surprising.

Where do you get these figures, as others get different rates? Assume you are looking at one bookmaker?
comment in response to post
54 of 968 matches is approx 6%. 54 of 1936 teams (2 per match) is approx 3%.
comment in response to post
No it isn’t

Mike Dean said they should appeal it

If you need some hope, Liverpool only won 2-0 at Portman Road and they only lost 1-0 at the Emirates… may not be a total drubbing?

Not a week to go against Mo!
comment in response to post
Surely more than £40m. They paid £44m for him.
comment in response to post
Have they really left Saliba behind Harwood-Bellis every week, or is that just this week due to injury?
comment in response to post
Fair. Was also that I went for Isak last week and betting against Mo twice in a row feels wrong!
comment in response to post
Brentford’s relative strength at home does not mean they don’t concede many there - it’s more that they score lots. That said, I was on Palmer til the presser, but that little bit of doubt was enough to nudge me to Mo.
comment in response to post
Because you are deliberately misinterpreting the meaning of “forever”. And they have been in North London longer than Tottenham.
comment in response to post
Except it wasn’t ’North London’ at all. It was Middlesex.

Does this help you understand? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Municip...
comment in response to post
The bookies have us winning 4-0 at shorter odds than any Spurs win or a 0-0, we’ve got to do this surely…
comment in response to post
Still think you’d be mad to go without Palmer

You knew!

Cheers Rob, appreciate these

Like the Estu pick. I don’t have the balls but if you’re going to do it pre SOU is the time.
comment in response to post
Surely you bench Rogers at Chelsea over Eva?
comment in response to post
It’s a form v fixture classic! Salah for me.
comment in response to post
I had 26, you’ve made me feel better! I was praying Isak would be rested (or on fire) last night but not to be

Isak

Just when I thought it was safe to dump Haaland!
comment in response to post
More likely than not! Though if it came to it you could probably sell any tics on Twickets etc
comment in response to post
Ha, this is mine barring maybe Digne & Burgess. Guess it’s pretty template if going without the robot.
