Today was a very satisfying day! 🏊‍♀️ got my pool time in 🌮 mmm, tacos for lunch with the Mr. at a chill place near home ✔️ all the boxes on the goals/tasks/to-dos lists 🤯 and that gamification dopamine hit I get with each check in digital bullet journal

UGGGH - as expected. Mr. BRC & I went in to get our US Passports 5/17. We both got notified that our apps had been received, & the check cleared following week. Mr. BRC got notified on 5/5 that his was approved & was mailed today. Me? I was told via email that they need more documentation.

HUGE NEWS. The judge in the case where 21 state attorneys generals sued the Trump administration over dismantling the IMLS just issued an injunction in favor of the plaintiffs. This is good news & the judge further indicates that the plaintiffs have a STRONG case here. bookriot.com/the-latest-f...

Best thing I saw today. Outdoor pot with last year's brown stump from Black & Blue salvia - the pot we lovingly covered with a blanket of leaves in hopes of a revival - has 2 bright green buds🌱 from stump base today!!! (Was thisclose to getting replacement + digging out stump last week, but..)

A friendly reminder to support @npr.org and @pbs.org with whatever you can safely spare. If every middle income family gave them $5 a month, this is all a non-crisis. Easy to afford: just drop your Netflix subscription by a tier or two. You aren’t using 4K on 12 screens at once anyway.
