Went to see Merchant of Venice at @lyceumedinburgh.bsky.social tonight. It was brilliant. Seeing Shakespeare plays on stage sometimes doesn’t work for me. It’s like actors going through the motions. This production though was not like that. The acting was crisp and at times just excellent. 👏👏👏
