Never heard this before... And now it's my favourite ever song already

The most incredible day snorkelling with turtles and Manta Rays on Ningaloo reef today. Bucket list stuff, but very glad the Tiger shark waited till we were back on the boat before it came to say hi

Publicly owned Royal Mail delivered letters six days a week. After privatisation, that is set to fall to three days a week. Yes, it's our old friend 'the superior efficiency of the private sector'.

Possibly my favourite/most difficult ever #hiking trip yesterday on the Murchison river gorge loop, in Kalbarri national park in Western Australia. 5.8 miles in a stunning canyon, with some hairy scrambles/climbing and 38 degree heat to contend with. It's a very special place.

This is incredible! John Lithgow shares 20 lessons on tyranny by @timothysnyder.bsky.social. Please take a moment, and share this widely. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXR5...

The number of good points per minute in this video is extremely high, which is wild because it is 2 hours and 40 minutes long. youtu.be/teqkK0RLNkI?...

Look at this disgusting smear of pollution colour on the sky. Gross

"Why are we taxing working people more than billionaires?" "Billionaires Tax Avoidance is bankrupting the Government." "We should tax wealth not wages." #bbcqt #TaxTheRich

People are taking things into their own hands

Don’t believe the lie that more austerity is the Chancellor’s only option: (Letter in today’s Guardian)

Economic austerity policies drive me barking mad because we have a *huge* body of evidence that they DO NOTHING to improve the economy. All they do is spread misery which makes rich people feel better because rich people are sociopaths.

Society would be much improved if we stopped letting the Spiked/Living Marxism people be appointed to things

From 2010 to 2016 (latest data I have ), NIH research contributed to EVERY drug approved by the FDA

Watching the 2024 Barkley marathons documentary "the edge of possible" and was inspired to do an extra five minutes on the step machine. Hoo-rah!
