Kansas to Belgium with stops along the way. More likely to reply/like than skeet, since most of you say it better/funnier than I can. True blue, both politics and baseball. I confess to being earnest - I think it's important.

Just knowing that dear friends are grieving with you is helpful. There's not a lot you can do at the moment, but she knows you are there. Sometimes that's enough.

Ha. Just saw that someone made the same comment to the original article. So it's not just me . . .

omg - in those 'suit' photos he looks like Ryan Gosling! (Or is it just that I'm obsessed with Ryan Gosling?)

Let's hope we will be celebrating once the results are announced. 🤞

Ooh, I haven't seen it yet. I'll have to put it on my list. Thanks for the recommendation.

Okay, who's going to start?

Has Teddy been watching the news?

Totally agree. The most helpful thing they could do now would be to help man the barricades. Literally, put themselves at the front of the many protests that are already happening. Those don't make the news much, unfortunately. Perhaps with a senator or rep there they would.

I'm American but don't live in the States anymore (thankfully, at the moment) so there's not much civil disobedience I can do from here. Totally agree that there needs to be a grassroots movement, but it would be helpful if we saw that our leadership was willing to join in the fight. ✌️

So basically just doing the opposite of what the US administration is doing. Canada has the support of so many Americans - thank you for standing up to our bullies. Let's hope the Democratic leadership will finally follow your example.

Obviously Buster, with no regard for his own safety, threw himself on the exploding pillow to heroically save the lives of those around him. He deserves a medal! 🎖️

He looks like he's thinking deep thoughts. Or maybe just about when his next meal will be. Either way, he's a beauty!

Is that what she's thinking?

They're probably still thinking about you, too.

That's exactly why Trump admires him. This just makes him like Putin all the more. (I'm not saying they're wrong to publish it, just that the orange one doesn't give a shit if he is.)

Time to get my t-shirt out! The clip of him saying that seems to have disappeared! Now all I find is a gif, which isn't as good.

Thank you for the link!

Wonderful! Enjoy your thyme (see what I did there?) Also, thanks for the repost!

It made my day! I hope your day has been sunny, too. 🌞

May it be sooner rather than later.

Please take me with you.

We'll throw copies of it on the bonfire we build to keep us warm behind the barricades.

There's something so wonderful about seeing a picture of a man with a cat. Especially young boys, because they can express love and tenderness in a way that they might be unwilling to do in front of their friends. You're a lucky mom.

Definitely not. There's a least two of us! Seriously, I think most people would agree if they stopped to think about it. And who knows, there may be somebody setting this in motion already. I hope so!

I've wondered that as well. It's our info!

Aw, my favorite gif. Always have to rewatch it several times whenever it shows up.

They were wonderful in the beginning before the influx of bots and trolls. Back when you could just follow back without having to worry that it was some jerk. Sigh. I sound like an old lady.

Same here. Don't understand all the fuss.

That's something that really struck me while watching 'The Brutalist'. Admittedly, those men had been to hell, and weren't sure that anyone else had survived, but the way they hugged and kissed each other was wonderful. Like they were trying to crawl inside each other from sheer joy.

Aw, it's a long time since someone called me sweet! 🥰 (I'm afraid you're right though. It's just his stupid way of 'asking the question' that ticks me off.)

I thought it was going to be Mia scritching you. Still pleasant to watch.

This was lovely. Her writing drew me in and I went on to read several other pieces and subscribe. Thank you for sharing!

Hopefully my little one will do well too, even though it's not a tree. Bought it on a whim (as often happens with plants!) and figured it was worth a try. Thanks for the info, and for the spring countdown!
comment in response to post
What kind of climate do you have, Mike? Hard winters, rainy or dry? I bought a small eucalyptus plant last fall to put in a pot. Still looks okay for the moment, we'll see how it looks in spring. Perhaps eventually I can give it a spot in the garden.
