Up to the minute footage from the law firms that took the Trump deals:

I have just started watching Severance, and you guys, I want Irving and Burt to kiss SO MUCH.

This guy should not be allowed within a mile of our government, and should never, EVER, have had any kind of security clearance.

Well, honestly, that guy isn't going to be coming up with any better lines than ChatGPT on his own anyway, and that's probably doing a service to his potential pool of dates, who at least have fair warning before they are deeply disappointed in the bedroom.

This is in fact what we have done. Foolish, shortsighted, appalling.

The last few months have been a real opportunity for us as a country to feel what Usha Vance's friends undoubtedly feel, which is a constant, low-level, "But, girl, WHY? There is no possible way that his bedroom game is worth THIS."

"How dare you not stop us from that thing we were dead-set on doing!" This is just.... I mean, Jesus. I think it actually says a lot about our restraint as a people that JD Vance isn't punched in his stupid face every single time he leaves the house.

Just a reminder that I have a monthly newsletter (that's it-- just once a month) where I give updates on different projects, cool things I've been reading or watching, new toys, and whatever other random thoughts cross my mind. And if you sign up now, you'll probably get it tomorrow night.

Truth.

It remains such a mystery why Luigi is basically a folk hero at this point.

I think my favorite part of the academic hiring practice is that you are either basically hired immediately, sight unseen, for adjuncting work, sometimes only days before the semester begins, or it's a drawn-out, months-long exchange of emails about a job that may or may not exist next year.

Gonna take this opportunity to say that I can personally deliver no script for as little as 7 million, and I know some other writers who can do it for as little as five million.

First JPMorgan, now MetLife keeps its 60% recession call — titling today’s note “Damaged Goods”: “Even if there is a near-term resolution of the tariff and other trade issues, damage has been done to the economy and to consumer expectations.”

Now that it's not just our liberties but our wallets that are being targeted, is it possible that something will happen?

I recently saw a comment from someone who was genuinely surprised to hear JKR had become toxic. I'd also thought it was impossible for people to not be aware, but I'm eyeball deep in the book industry & have a lot of queer friends & family, so I'm at the crossroads of that information being common.

a lesson for every college, law firm, business, etc. — if these chodes demand you do something, your first response should be some form of "make me"

It's cute that Barrett and Roberts are taking turns to pretend to have actual judicial ethics.

Actually, it's only a dire wolf if it comes from the Late Pleistocene epoch, otherwise it's just sparkling dog.

Scientists create dire wolves.* People immediately start trying to domesticate them into floofy dogs. Time is a flat circle. (*ersatz dire wolves)

Joseph Peters had the courage to speak up during @booker.senate.gov’s town hall, & he pled with everyone listening...to PLEASE protect Medicaid. Joseph, thank you for this #CupOfJoe from you & your Mom. It’s full of bravery & love. I hope that the GOP hears you. Call your MOCs 202-224-3121!

They cut cancer research and meals-on-wheels so they could spend our tax dollars on concentration camps instead
