Sorry to hear that. Love to both of you. I myself am on week 3 of this bronchial cough w 0 fever but achey glands & nodes w fatigue. All covid tests have been negative but I’m skeptical. I normally bounce back twice as fast as most (usually get twice as sick too) but this is LINGERING. Yes I’m vaxed

Oh & he also has the best kimchi I’ve ever had as well! Funks up your fridge but it’s fucking delicious & worth the overpowering aroma😂. Always loved fermented stuff but as I’ve gotten older I’m also gravitating towards bitter things & really sharp cheddars (lactose intolerant so cheddar is safe🧀🤘).

Likewise! My sister’s friend owns an old school “provisions” shop in their little town where he ferments pretty much anything you can, has a small deli & makes fresh poke as they live on the coast. Anyway, he has the BEST pickles I’ve ever had. The spicy sours have this cloudy brine & are 🤤🤤🤤🔥🔥🔥🔥

As I just replied to one of my ppl, I live rather close to Pittsburgh, adore it & the only ppl who welcomed this are the types you’d expect. Everyone else (the majority) are pretty pissed.

I live 45 mins from Pittsburgh & I can honestly tell you that the only ppl who were happy about him signing w/ the Steelers were the type of ppl you’d expect. Ppl fly militia flags around here in the rurals & are neighborly in general or just indifferent (that’s fine, ok) but no likey either 😂.

But I never really binge either. 2-3 eps at a time are “binge” for me. I’m the person that doesn’t mind a 3 hour + epic film establishing world building & character arcs yet I draw the line at 3 eps in a row. Disturbed I know 🤣

Whenever I take a few shots -for whatever reason, even if just to do a few shots😂- I always do silent salutes/tributes as I raise the vessel. One of them is simply, “May Love & Light Defeat Evil & Darkness…” sometimes there are additions to that, but that’s the base. Feel free to use & add, brother🤘

The cynical, jaded but deeply humorous parts of me that work so well interwovernly (making up words) want to reply, “same.” But I cannot 😂. A chance meeting with an older stranger a few weeks ago became an instant connection. Within a few quick sentences 6 of us were conversing. It was at Aldi 🫡😇😂🤣

Worst covid of my now FOUR experiences were in Mid Dec 2024 & the last 2 weeks. Fully vaxed. Had a boost. My previous covid bouts were severe flu (aches in even teeth & fingers) sans respiratory. This one? Was. I NEVER get a cough. Still have it. No comparison to seasonal allergies. Bested it. Awful

This may sound gross (& it is🤣) but they’re super sensitive to your scent. I swear Squeak is more affectionate & attentive after I’ve worked outside most of the day or first thing in the morning when you smell. If she starts rubbing herself all over & hooking her tail around your limbs? All good 😇

Opposite here. Hillbillies & miscreants. Warnings of cancellations for unpaid utilities taped to their doors yet they all smoke lung-darts which are like $12 a pack now & always have some stank rotgut booze they’re constantly swilling. Half a dozen or more perpetually on their porches all hours.

I have repurchased this film on multiple mediums. One of my all-time favorites. Did I initially watch it simply b/c he wrote The Usual Suspects? Yes. Do I keep rewatching it every few years b/c there’s nothing else like it? Also yes. There’s this brash coldness to it that’s also so professional.
