Let’s be honest. Instead of, “We’re moving away from DEI.” we should tell the truth and say, "White men aren't actually competitive in an open labor market, so we need to create exclusionary policies to keep other, more qualified candidates of color from being employed." Because that’s the truth.

I have little frame of reference for how much other countries embrace "if you're poor you work until you die," but in America there's a reason the elderly have jobs at Walmart and McDonald's and I promise you most of them aren't there just to "get out of the house."
