I’m named after the great Irish playwright Brian Friel, my mom was 5-6 months pregnant with me when my parents saw a play in Denver (Art Carney was in the production). My writing has always sucked, I majored in Construction Management.

Tom, how did we acquire California, Arizona, New Mexico, southern part of Colorado, etc? A completely BS war with Mexico we provoked in the 1840’s. Sure, it took place 180 years ago, but I’m not surprised that there is a big chunk of folks in the SW who resist when the US military shows up.
