Photos from last night's Dungeons and Drag Nuns where we played Ace Adventure (available from @luckoftheharbor.com ) to raise money for Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition. Thank you all for coming out. Thanks @sidequestbooks.bsky.social @worlds4all.bsky.social for being so great!

Woops I spoke to soon. Lilith Graves is now subbing in for Mako Bell. Did you think your home game was hard to schedule? TRY DOING IT ON STAGE FOR CHARITY

Tonight's sold out show at The Upstairs of Bow Market is still happening, but there are a few changes to announce! Juicy Garland cannot make it, but we will be joined by special guest Heather Silva of @worlds4all.bsky.social We will be playing Ace Adventure from @luckoftheharbor.com Doors 6:30!

This is a new experience for me. Can You Host? features Sister Brother Freddie Anne Willing as a guide and NPC. I also offered my insights and words as a designer. #ttrpg

Can You Host? A Game Of Messy Queers Who Want To Fuck But Don't Want To Host is coming to itch.io for the #tittyrpgjam on March 10th! Featuring art by @sweatermuppet.bsky.social @fateboundknight.bsky.social and Asho Buckingham. But that's just the Quick & Dirty Version...

I understand the hustle is part of being a creative under capitalism. If you lie to me to make your work more appealing, I'm not hiring you, I'm not buying your game, and I'm not following you on here.

For #WIPWednesday I am working on the playbook structure for Youth at the End of the World. Today I wrote "I Cut the Pen with my [expletive]ing Sword". . . . Im not sure if I can swear on bsky without getting flagged. Google results were inconclusive. I swear in the game #ttrpg

QRP with powerful women 😈✨ of course!! here’s some more Lavina (and her husband Roux) who has never done anything wrong in her life ever 😌 #art

Warrenguard. Easily my favorite game to come out since Monsterhearts 2. Feels queer without trying. Your players will be telling stories before they get out of character creation. Mechanics that feels smooth when they should, and not quite in your control when they should. You ride a dragon

the sfwa minimum pro rate in 2025 is 8 cents a word.

Currently this game takes heavy inspiration from some of my favorite media like 'Revolutionary Girl Utena' and 'I Saw the Tv Glow'. Its designed for Type 2 fun, and encourages player to question some traditional concepts of the space the game exists in. It also codifies a lot of GM "tricks"

@luckoftheharbor.com has pulled me back into game design. She has shamelessly stolen my ideas, used me for my insight, and now I have design credits in both Warrenguard and Can You Host? I'm working on a new game that you can follow by joining the patreon discord. www.patreon.com/LuckoftheHar...

Saved you some time. It's capitalism

With the demise of Joann's, I'm going to share a few online resources I've found. It's by no means exhaustive, but hopefully it helps folks find what they need. 🧵

The other end of this, more and more game designers are assuming they don’t need rules for things they probably do, because they played a game that was also missing those rules with a good GM and it was fine. We’re not seeing the bad experiences because we’ve found our safe people

The amount of conversations I’ve had with people who think D&D is the easiest rpg to pick up and then found that it was more complex than they were told. “But I tried Pathfinder and Shadowrun so everything is harder than 5e!” They are very very very very not.

LGBTQ federal workers say they're terrified they're about to be fired for their gender identity, sexual orientation, or past efforts to support other queer and trans employees—in other words, a second Lavender Scare. Honored to have their trust with this story: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
