I am in enthusiastic agreement besides the three leads, Imelda Staunton is utterly memorable in what amounts to a cameo.

It may be a secondary role, but he is wonderful in Hands Across the Table with Carole.

I just had the same experience. Can’t say I had ever heard of him before, but his obituary was such a compelling story that I went to search for these. The only set I found had a very high price. Sounds like it might be worth it?

Such a lovely little movie. I’m glad it’s not completely forgotten.

The first symphony is a guilty pleasure. Maybe not top-tier but so tuneful, so Bohemian, and I always laugh at how Fibich teases and stretches out his finales.

I'm glad to hear he is all right, but I will really miss his film insights and recommendations. I just can't go back to Twitter.

It’s such a wonderful film about four amazing people. I told my family that when I die, I want them to treat me like Lee Hayes and sprinkle my ashes on my compost pile.

I resisted Harlow for years, assuming she was nothing more than the dumb blonde stereotype. Boy, was i wrong! I especially love her in Wife vs. Secretary and as part of the great quartet who make up the cast of Libeled Lady. And I always wait for that final moment with her and Dressler in Dinner.

Sometimes I pull it out just to watch the "Man on the Flying Trapeze" bus segment. Always lifts my spirits.
