I do remember that one! Definitely not a good film, but like all JCVD movies it was fun.

It’s a hop, skip, and a jump from that to Stephen King’s “The Running Man” and then “The Hunger Games.”

Except the brave people hiding Jewish families during WW2 were smart enough to not broadcast their actions to the world…

As a Nebraska Democrat in the state’s “Blue Spot,” I worry about this. But so many in our state have bought into the fear-mongering and rhetoric of the right for years. And our moronic governor (and the Ricketts family and Deb Fischer) don’t help. It truly is FAFO season!

Staff at the event said the number was closer to 3,500 people. 2400 is good. 3500 is even better. Whichever is accurate a good night in Nebraska!

Maybe they are thinking two is enough for plural centuries? 20th and 21st? Or more likely they don’t have good editors on staff to catch that sort of thing…

But if he ignores court decisions he doesn’t like, what is the consequence?

Apple has pledged money to help with the recovery. Amounts haven’t been announced yet, but Apple has always been civic minded. While I disagree with their donation to Trump, they are also a company that unfortunately has to play ball with the government, no matter who is in charge.

As someone who is represented by that old cow, this doesn’t surprise me.

My kids can’t download anything on their Apple devices without my permission. It’s a simple setting and they can’t get around it. It’s built into the OS (assuming you are using it properly).

I’ve been celibate since my separation and divorce 6 years ago. I’m okay with it. And I even get along with my ex! I don’t understand other men who act like celibacy is the end of the world. Men really do suck.

This…. Is…. Madness. At best madness. At worst…. I used to respect her and her ability to play the DC game… but now…. She needs to go. (Pelosi….)

This is definitely a deep reference that will go over the heads of many here… but I love it! There is a reason Sondheim is so revered!

There was a Doctor Who episode several years ago where the Doctor came across a group of employees in space who had to pay for their oxygen access while they worked in the cold of space. This seems to be a similar situation… Our system is so messed up.
