The #monster manual is out in the wild. Here is one entry that was not previewed before. The insane, warped Nothic. I crunched up its pose so that its “head” was nearly upside down…drool dripping over its burning eye. Really inspired by both Venom and Xenomorphs. #DnD

Another illustration of mine was in the #DND preview of the Monster Manual today. What do you call a group of Salamanders? A “swarm” …a “flare” of Salamanders? This one was fun a puzzle to get everything to read clearly while still giving it a red heat throughout. AD: @furygalluzzi.bsky.social

Sorry I forgot to show these soon after the other Yuan Ti previewed. Usually considered a lower caste of the Yuan Ti, these have simple belted tunics and shapeless cloak/ponchos. “Observant” and “lithe” were in the back of my mind during the design process. More of the Yuan Ti previewed last week. (Working alongside AD: @furygalluzzi.bsky.social ) While designing their costumes I envisioned these as from a soldier caste of the Yuan Ti culture. I wanted my four illustrations to use costume as a way to show different levels of Yuan Ti society.
