1/2 Stepping away from social media in all forms right now. I was ok for the first week or so of this coup. But as this goes on and it really sinks in that we're in for some serious damage, I've lost the ability to do the things that usually make me happy. I need to do more to take care of myself.

I'm sorry, but "they took over the whole federal payments system, fired the career staff, and won't let anybody see what they're doing" is not a situation in which you wait for more information. Can't bear to go to my weekly knitting group today. There's an unspoken rule against discussing politics, but there are a couple of people... A few weeks ago they were breathlessly congratulating themselves for voting for him and trading tips on how best to watch his inauguration. I just can't. Ugh.
