Not that many books i can think of with a gay wizard (Dumbledoor doesnt count ), so there is definitely room in the library for that

Either 8pm or early game, either way impossible to get there and back in a day

Well you are the one making excuses ! Perhaps if your team had more than one shot on target in a match you would do better. Anyway it was a good game, the good guys won and lets hope fridays game is a good watch, whatever the result

well, you have an instant chance to get revenge on Friday- luckily for us the refs tonight knew the actual rules, unlike yourself it seems.

Chelsea ARE out of the FA Cup because they were beaten by the better team on the night. VAR wouldn't have ruled the goal out as ball hit Lamptey and he wasn't the scorer=learn the rules Sore Loser.

whereas some realise that the whole point of a £50 million+ academy is to produce players to be sold to EFL and European Clubs , which we have been doing successfully for years. Only a small % of academy players will end up in the #BHAFC first team, but plenty end up playing at quite a high level

Looking forward to this, i liked the previous two

Has anyone actually suggested that the club refused to sell because of "morals". The only reasons I have seen is that both Mitoma and the Club didn't want it to happen. Had Mitoma wanted to go the offered amount was more than enough, and the club would have accepted.

I really wanted to like it, despite the bad reviews , im not sure it falls into the so bad that its good unfortunately, its just bad.

Ferguson is still injured, and has been for months. Thats the reason he hasnt been playing more. Any loan deal would seem to be to get him fit. I cant see a top half team wanting to loan a player that will take at least a month to 6weeks to be match fit.

Just watched it, and I can not believe how totally awful it is. Its a bad mix of Mission Impossible, Hustle, Leverage ,and Jason of Star command . There was even something lifted (badly)straight from Men In Black. Its the most "not Star Trek" Star Trek thing I have ever seen.

Having said that you will probably beat us easily!

You do realise brighton have won 5 of the last six times we have played you, and we have the best win ratio of any team against you. Perhaps if Utd treated other teams with the respect that they seem to demand for themselves you wouldnt be closer to relegation than europe

We all hope so, we are desperate for him to be back, our injury list is the worst and its killing us!

Park & Ride would be good, but unless I have misread, this isn't one. Its using existing (as yet unidentified) car parks and the current bus services. So pay to park, pay to bus. Given that there are exactly ZERO car parks on the outstskirts of the city what is different to the current situation?

No, the rail is for the person who is allocated that seat. The seats remain, and the rail prevents the person from moving(falling, pushed, deliberately) moving down to the row in front

This aged very quickly 3-1 unfortunately.

And just to prove my point, 5 mins later they have scored twice and are now leading.
comment in response to post
There is a massive difference between the meaning of winning and leading which seems to be lost. You can be leading, and ultimately lose the match. It may turn out that at 1-0 down they were actually winning the game.

Given that the manager of #BHAFC is Fabian Hürzeler and has been since before the season started-and that Evan is injured, and that we have no fit forwards, I'm thinking that this report may not be entirely accurate

I noticed that at the same time another bin on the opposite side, closer to Sainsburys ,was also slowly migrating across the cycle lane, this has also now been moved back to the proper location. Lets hope they stay put!
comment in response to post
you do know the reason Evan isn't playing is not that he is out of favour, but he has an ongoing ankle injury, Welbeck is just returning, and Pedro injured leaving us with no fully fit strikers, its highly unlikely even if fit #BHAFC would sanction a loan until we have our other forwards match fit

Good all round performance, first 20 they were a bit off the pace but then you could see the confidence come back. Hopefully the "turn round point" in our season. Of we can getva win on Thursday then I thinknwe will all be looking up rather than down the table

this will NEVER get old

Pleased that we have gone for virtually a first team line up. Definite statement if intent for #bhafc to go deep into this years FA Cup

Arsenal were time wasting from the 5th minute. They should have had more than enough goals in first half to win but were more interested in stopping the game at every opportunity. 2 mins per free kick. Joke. Whether a pen or not, u shouldnt have given Brighton the opportunity to get back in it.

There were lots of other reasons, reagrding size of crowds, costs, etc. I cant recall them all.

Same for the public areas ,lots of male facilities, not as many female ones. Womens events have a very different profile of supporters, less beer and pies . Plenty about it on line
comment in response to post
1/2 Well im paraphrasing Paul Barber here when he was talking about it in interviews The changing rooms for example have lots of urinals, and only a couple of cubicles. Fine for male teams, not so good for say 15-20 female players at half time....cont

@chaseconnorbooks.bsky.social Finished it over Christmas, it took a few chapters for me to get into it, it seemed a slightly different "feel" than your other books. Once I got stuck in though, thoroughly enjoyed it Any plans for a full "Bang Bang Basemoi" book?

2/2 the cost of opening a 30 000 seater stadium for less than 10k is prohibitive A Womens stadium will attract other womens events , and also those that need a smaller stadium
comment in response to post
1/2 because the Amex is designed for men. The new one will be designed for predominantly womens events although the younger teams may play there The changing rooms will have different facilities, as will the rest of the stadium- a lot more womens toilets for example, also...

Why on earth do you think Brighton owe Leeds anything? If anything you owe us for letting Ben White play for you so cheaply

Started "Talk To Me" this morning with my morning mug of tea in bed (Coffee comes later-I'm British!). Early days and I am liking it, it does seem to have a "different feel" to @chaseconnorbooks.bsky.social other books - and no, I'm not sure how to explain that
comment in response to post
There is no British Method of making tea in a microwave. Simply not done. The ONLY British way is boil the kettle.

I agree with that, if he is a guaranteed starter,at Brighton hes a guaranteed starter when fit, at Liverpool,City etc would he be?. Im genuinely not sure if everyone else is fit? Good luck to him if he goes, but he will be expensive!
comment in response to post
2/2 ..but players are realising that signing for a big 6 isnt the only way anymore. Just look at Dewsbury-hall at Chelsea, vanished into that mess and now up for sale 6months later.
comment in response to post
1/2 Again, you intimated that playing for a team outside the big six is a hindrance. Brighton also had player of the tournament and winner of the last Afcon. Didnt hurt him either. Times have moved, football doesnt totally revolve round the big six anymore. Of course the big six is good visibility
comment in response to post
This is simply big club mentality and disrespectful of #bhafc. Ali Mac not only went to the world cup while a Brighton player- he won it. 2/3rd of our first team squad play for their country's senior international team, and even some of our development players are full internationals.
