Fuck, Giant Bomb

My life is wildly different today because of the time I spent working with folks from Giant Bomb. I've enjoyed the hell out of the current incarnation of GB, and felt like the current editorial team really got what makes the site special. My heart goes out to everyone involved. End of an era.

My first thought upon seeing this post

Checking out @kelslewin.bsky.social ‘s new store today in Vegas! @pinkgorillalas.bsky.social

@jeffgerstmann.com Realized today that if you put out a video where you lick a Nintendo Switch 2 cartridge you might "BREAK THE INTERNET".

I’m left with a certain sinking feeling that says if the Nintendo delay picks up steam and points a lot of new fingers at Trump, the administration will vindictively start picking apart the whole industry under the guise of “video game violence is destroying the youth” or some such shit.

Video games are more than just a pastime—they're a gateway to endless worlds, creativity, and connection. Whether you're saving galaxies, solving puzzles, or building empires, there's something for everyone. Level up your life and embrace the adventure! AI wrote it 🎮✨ #GamingIsLife #VideoGames #Fun

I tried Avowed, but these type of games continue to be not my thing.

I’ve got nearly 100 hours clocked in UFO 50. This game is all-time great status.

Follow @wario64.bsky.social and repost for a chance to win 1 of 5 Steam codes for Tokyo Xtreme Racer. Giveaway ends February 9th, 6 PM PT Game is available now on Steam store.steampowered.com/app/2634950/...

@danryckert.com Didn't know you were a Skyrim guy...

I hope Nintendo never announces a Switch successor. It’s much funnier to be stuck in an endless cycle of people claiming to know what’s going to happen.

I would respect podcasts more if they did ads for cigarettes than if they have ads for DraftKings.

@jeffgerstmann.com Hope you're staying safe with all this fire crap

Streaming in 2010: You can watch an entire catalog of amazing movies and TV shows for a reasonable monthly fee Streaming in 2025: our library is Batman movies and 28 seasons of a Tim Allen sitcom, it costs $159/month. We just destroyed the last piece of evidence that Mister Rogers ever existed
