Being chronically ill is exhausting. Advocacy is exhausting. Advocacy while chronically ill is even more exhausting. Advocating for the rights of marginalized groups during a fascist white supremacist uprising? Feels nearly impossible. Keep up the fight everyone. There’s more of us than them.

Happy Barack Obama Day! Here's a reminder that there is no chance in hell that PAB will ever be as great as President Barack Obama, who, by the way, has Zero felony convictions...

Asking a 2025 marine in the future where they were deployed… “I was stationed in Los Angeles to guard an empty street and battled heatstroke mostly.”

This is precisely correct.

The folks hollering about “family values” are out here tearing families apart with unlawful ICE raids, militarized police, & the weaponization of government. All while ripping away food & healthcare from working-class families. Are the family values in the room with us?

What you're seeing are wet microbursts—intense downdrafts from thunderstorms that slam rain into the ground, creating those stunning lobes. Like a reverse explosion from the sky. Captured in Perth, #Australia

Learning to rest & protect your baseline is one of the hardest things to do when chronically ill. The “coulda, woulda, shoulda’s” are always there. Guilting. Gaslighting us into ignoring what our needs. I wrote this article a few months ago after a crash… today it’s a reminder to slow down & rest:

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you." - President Lyndon B. Johnson

Tim Walz: "It's not a 'woke policy' to provide food for children to get breakfast and lunch, and we get better outcomes from that. They defined things on their terms that weren't true ... we got timid."

Dear Democratic Members of Congress, Stop telling me about what he's doing. We can all see it. Start telling me about what you're doing to stop it! Signed, Americans

George Foreman, Rest in Peace.

the people who told you to calm down about Roe are the same people telling you to calm down about Social Security, in case you hadn't noticed

BREAKING: 34,000 people have showed up in Denver, Colorado this evening to see Bernie Sanders and AOC fight oligarchy and authoritarianism.

I remember it being unpleasant & a lot less fudge-y.

"I think you caved. I don't think you showed the fight this party needs right now, because you're playing by a rulebook where the other party has thrown that rulebook away" -- here's the full clip of Sunny Hostin confronting Schumer today on The View
