This is what I love.
MAGA: "HE'S SO SMART AND SPEAKS REALLY WELL"
People who only reads quotes in articles: "I don't see the problem, he seems intelligent.
Non-MAGA who have sat through one of his speeches: "This guy needs to go into a retirement home and on something."

5 out of 7 this time because of the two questions about specific 'well-known' individuals... not so much well known outside the UK, so had to guess lol

You know, I'm British, but I love winging these quizzes to see if I have fair expectations on US people and organisations. Unfortunately... I am getting them mostly right every time.

Criminals go to jail. End of.

Or even, and get this... being born in the US and raised in the US and even have a family of your own.. and still being deported because your parents weren't US citizens.
That's what Trump's looking to do. And that's a whole new level of pathetic racism.

Imagine doing everything legally and still being deported because some orange jerk is playing off his racist fan base. Or doing everything legally and being harassed non-stop by said racist fan base despite that.

Which... you know... is pretty telling. They aren't there illegally. And Trump still wants them gone.

No, he was killed by someone who should have done better.
Did that mean you deported or fired all cops? No.
Are you deporting everyone who is an immigrant of similar colour. Absolutely. Because many of them have temporary permission to be in the US and aren't yet illegally there.

Yes. She does. But who else does? Did George Floyd? Philando Castile? Those 5 innocent people at Club Q?
Countless others that you may not like (since bigotry tends to stick together) and THEY ALL MATTER.
That includes the immigrants you so hate.

So human rights don't matter to you when it's someone you don't like, 'got it'.

That's a US military C-17. Two took off from Texas and Arizona to Guatemala, south of Mexico.
A THIRD one, which is supposedly as pictured here, was expected to go to Mexico but were refused permission to land in Mexico.

Nah it doesn't. That plane had to return with the people still inside because Mexico refused it π

Depends on the state. Apparently California went over $8 for a dozen? According to CNET who's got a High Factual reporting rating.
Anyone from California able to confirm this just for reassurance?

And guess what? Merit based existed before DEI... and decisions driven by manager racism and ableism were rife.
So... merit based is equal rights until you let someone make a choice without oversight.

Which in itself is horrifying when you consider how much people are struggling even in countries they shouldn't be struggling in.

Problem is X. Not even being dramatic.
There were people genuinely complaining about Trump's first actions saying, "No one told us he'd do this!"
Because algorithms prevent you seeing a balanced view. Worse still if X did in fact hide content to manipulate opinions.

Because these companies are no longer supporting equal rights and as a result will open up opinion based employment instead of making sure people get employed fairly.
Boycotting is a way for communities to express disagreement. If it hurts the company, the company can re-evaluate.

I've just ended my active use of X - I feel like I'm going to have culture shock for a little while β€οΈ

It's not a win, but it is expected of a leader to be able to communicate well with other leaders even if they dislike or disagree with them.
I would love it if our PM could outwardly call Trump all the names we're thinking of, but it would be a bad idea given the powers involved.
