Worked the 2015 election as an advance poll DRO and for all 4 days, we were non-stop busy open to close and we had to wait until the last person in line was done. We were so busy they had to call a quick halt to voting 2x a day so we could use the washroom. Never got to eat. It was insane but good.

A history lesson for πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦β€™s pre WW2 military size was 10k reg force and 51k militia. Six years later πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ had the 3rd largest Navy in the world (including Aircraft carriers) and the 4th largest airforce. The Army had expanded to 750, 000 men and women. It can be done again πŸ‘

This is from the CBC: In 78 per cent of provincial elections held in Ontario since 1867, the winning party was ideologically different from the party whose leader was sitting in the prime minister's office in Ottawa at the time. That figure increases to over 90% for elections held since 1943.
