Feels like the instant social media inclusion points that way

Glad you enjoyed it Brendan. It’s a show we are really proud of :)

Yeah now finished: not sure if I’ve ever cried more during a show, but knowing the source material there had been a high chance of that. Really incredible.

"Vote For Pedro" shirts took nearly a decade to fully filter out of society, outside of an occasional now-retro Halloween choice

As someone who had 60,000 posts between the ages of 15 and 19 on the offtopic section of a Dave Matthews Band forum, I spiritually connect with this

I wouldn't be surprised if they make that argument, but that's precisely why this seems to be a worthwhile test case for rights orgs to get involved in. But yeah, we're certainly in a time where "government actions" and "very obvious bozo shit" seem to be synonymous, so we'll see

Like, this is so hilariously broad that I can only assume Hawley has a humiliation kink. Love when I support "lawless mob actions" in a way that produces itemized vendor receipts

If PSL doesn't already have ample legal help they're about to get it for free, as this looks like the sort of clear, egregious overstep of power that civil rights legal orgs would love to use as a precedent-setting case. PSL should tell Hawley to get fucked and we'll see you in court

the population's knowledge of how the world works is filtered through the media they consume. The geographic isolation of the US allows for the isolation of political ideals. (Admittedly I'm writing this from a hotel room in Barcelona so this has been top of mind this week)

It's an angle I've never really taken the time to write out, but I do think keeping American wages low to intentionally limit the average American's opportunity to be exposed to the standards of the rest of the world is part of the game. Easier to keep a limited political spectrum if most of 1/2

"bro I know exactly the opposite of what I just said is happening right now but imagine if it wasn't, right bro?"

This feels like the centrist nerd version of the “firebombing a Wal-Mart” bit. A lot of people saying “just go win elections” seem to never actually win elections. Especially rich with a Fetterman guy involved, whose election/fundraising success was on the back of claiming to be progressive

Yankee Stadium has a short porch; Boston suffers from a short pole. Hate to see it.

Is it some sort of paying cultural dues to the type of dirtbag I just narrowly missed out on being? Who's to say; I'll continue to buy packs of Camel Crush at 2am wherever/whenever permitted

It's something that I have such conflicted feelings about- I've never been a regular smoker, I didn't grow up with regular smokers, I absolutely accept that it is a societal good that it isn't the norm... and yet! I feel essentially obligated to smoke inside where permitted (Vegas, NOLA, Tokyo)

I'm a Yankees fan (sorry) and there's nothing funnier to me than when, 8 innings into a game the Yankees are handily winning, the camera cuts to the dugout and we see Aaron Boone vibrating with rage and screaming at the ump. Like bro at this point I'm more worried about your oncoming aneurysm
