Your spellcheck missed something. It changed “a bad decision” to “interesting.”

But what did you forget to say? Is it time to say it?

There were a couple times where he had Kinda and Thommy at an 8/10 combo that really clicked for me. But it was rare. Kinda just didn’t seem like a Vermes type of player.

True. But there wasn’t much effort to find a like for like player and Peter seemed relieved to bring down the tempo. He never liked to pair Kinda and Thommy for example. We seem to have a recent history with fiery 10s (Croizet for example… right kind of player, wrong kind of attitude)

I’ve never been a Memo fan, and putting Jake on the back line instead of 8… well, others have made the point.

I still believe letting Kinda go was the beginning of this whole mess. Garcia showed some moves and pep out there. Hopefully they can build that and not beat it into the typical Vermes ball.

Let’s be honest. They’ve been slow in transition in all kinds of weather for the last two years.

Daniel without Johnny is going to be interesting. I think what little confidence he got back last season from that pairing will be gone. Sad, but I’m not sure if he’s up to the challenge.

Bartlett also looked better than would’ve been expected. But Miami looked as if they were playing under duress. They had no desire to be there so it was easy to keep the game under control (for the most part).

Every accusation is an admission from them. Always has been always will Be.

Good movie, horrible ending that undercuts everything that happened before it in the most ridiculous and “edgelord” way possible. But good on it.

Not gonna lie. The new vanilla Life is the absolute bomb.

Thiiiiiiissssssssss. I hate modern media culture and how absolutely stupid people are.
comment in response to post
What makes the movie so good is that instead of just hitting you in the face with its message like a frying pan within the first 10 minutes, it drops an increasing number of anvils on your head through the entire movie. How fucking stupid are people?

Peace Dog continues to be the pure adrenaline track of that album.

Did they ever save Tony Orlando’s house?

Stop. Looking. Stupid.

To be fair, it just has to be someone who appeals to ~500k suburban/rural Pennsylvania voters. The rest of it is social media fodder. But I like the spirit.

I get that. He’s a good looking man!

For sure. They are that one type of prototypical bar band that “makes it:” straight-ahead, tight, nothing flashy, but solid to the core. The other kind for me is the “quirky, cult” bar band ala TMBG, Too Much Joy, or, recently, Cheekface.

Wow. I guess sports through the filter of reality can be tough for some. Ok. I’ll take the coming block while you pretend an entire league colluded to… withhold joy from Buffalo? Flatter Taylor Swift fans? Or something. I can’t even track the insane takes anymore. Ridiculous.

So… Jasmine Crockett and AOC?

Yeah! We all know it was 20! Right?

Troy Aikman, chronic has-been, said it along with an army of red-assed social media “analysts.” I don’t need to drag anyone with the Bills. They handle that themselves, eternal losers. Texans AND bills had chiefs right where they wanted them and let up. Eagles put a boot on their neck.
comment in response to post
No. It was because Josh Allen pissed the game away trying to be a glory boy. Chiefs got rolled tonight because their o line has been trash all season and the Eagles were a defensive buzz saw. The whole ref trope is so fucking tired, dude. Know sports before sounding stupid.
comment in response to post
You may be shocked at the number of racist professional sports organizations if that’s your metric. Just sayin’.
comment in response to post
Right? Take your hits and move on. That’s sports. I’m a Chiefs fan (regional bias). I don’t like the political aspects of some of their players, but what are you gonna do? People hate those on top for too long and the Chiefs got dismantled tonight. Move on…

Can the NYT get any fucking stupider?

Kendrick performing at all was a statement. The show he put together, the imagery and energy was a message to those who needed to hear it and one that went straight over the heads of the people on whom his music comments. I mean other than Drake. He got nuked.
comment in response to post
No he didn’t. He was there for a photo op and left when he got it. I’d love to see him take one to the dome but no one drove him out of that game.

It was a game controller for the song”game over”. There was also a lot of flag imagery, especially during the song Humble. The Sam Jackson commentary was pretty straight forward. But I get where people may not have liked it. It certainly wasn’t subtle.

Huh. I like the Chiefs. And I’m not MAGA. But if they had to lose I’m glad it was in the name of increased Marxist ideology, I guess.

America is great again… for supervillains.
comment in response to post
No they wouldn’t have. This Eagles defense was a buzz saw the entire playoffs. I’m just shocked Barkley didn’t run for 500 against the Chiefs D.

I’m sorry. This kind of nuance is unacceptable on social media. Please delete your account.

Incredibly stupid take.

They played a team with a strong defense that wasn’t afraid of them (ahem… Ravens). There’s no “getting away with it.” Stop that absolute nonsense.

Des Moines area. The Bruin part is my So Cal expat status.

The Weeknd was definitely visual (tho I’d argue the camerawork did it no favors). I think Prince’s will never be topped, myself. Great mix of crowd pleasers, deep(ish) cuts and great stage visuals.
comment in response to post
Are they the greatest band ever? No. Do their first three albums still hold up and kick decades later? Yes! Can I sing every track including the bridges? Depends on how much I’ve had to drink.
comment in response to post
Nah. Just holding you to task. You can dislike a genre and not blame it on being old. There was more going on in that show than genre to appreciate beyond a 0.
comment in response to post
So genre’s the reason, not age. The show itself exceeded genre, imo. But to each their own.
comment in response to post
51 and loved it. Don’t blame age.
comment in response to post
9. Was expecting a little more in terms of guest artists like Dre’s show. But the singular force energy and visuals made it feel like the Prince show.
comment in response to post
Old, disconnected from reality, perhaps other things. Even if I didn’t know all the songs, the spectacle of it and energy was felt clearly. If you didn’t feel that you may be part of the problem being addressed.
