Have you ever read "meddling kids"? Its loosly based on scooby doo but the kids are all grown up and the monsters are real. Also lesbians!

Like the one where the pig in the mask bursts through his doggie door actually nearly killed me the first time I saw It and the hot dog car one is still funny to me even after multiple watches

My headcannon has always been that when they reproduce naturally it makes mogwai but the water produces evil mogwi. Its definatly one of those films not to think too hard about

Its fasinating to me that ASL uses way more one handed signs esp when finger spelling whereas BSL uses both. Then it irritates me because I cant find out why lol

Oh for sure! And i quote pratchett-isms waaaaay more than I should like normal people quote philosophy and stuff. It probibly doesnt mean anything that I dont like sad endings to this extent. -sigh-its probibly the autism again. Incresingly ive found thats the reason for most things lol
comment in response to post
You aren't wrong and in real life I try and affect a 'this too shall pass' attitude for good and bad stuff but for the fiction ill take ransom over braveheart and cast away over road to perdition just because "rocks fall everyone dies" is not a satifying ending (to me)
comment in response to post
I swear im more or less reasonable about most other things lol
comment in response to post
I think my issue is storytelling is escapist. Reality is full of "yeah and then they all died" endings so if i am to become emotionally invested in something i dang diddly dang want it to be happy. I know intellectually its supposed to make me sad but it just makes me angry
comment in response to post
All true! But idk if the endings sad or ends in a death im just...well whats the journey? What do we learn? What,in essence, is the point? My wife says its a terribly narrow view i have and they're probibly correct but (twice) i just hate it
comment in response to post
Im a huffy man baby and hate sad endings to stuff. Puts me right off. Anyway someone spoiled the ending of RDR2 for me and I ended my playthrough halfway in and never went back to that game. Sad but true

That's the dream. My friends and I have been playing for 30 years and we were speculating what character hed play. Some aweful warlock, rogue, fighter monstrosity probably. Called ebony darkway raven or whatever. Some kind of half demon nonsence

My understanding is dnd is having an anniversary and have released some book and in the forward they suggested the game has, in the past, been cis white male centric and a bit misogynistic. Apparently this "shits on players legacy". He's a twatwaffle

We have a museum here that has my first home pc in a display and a copy of lemmings. My hip immediately burst into thousand years old dust and I collapsed like the dude at the end of last crusade. Im 44.

Arkham horror 3rd edition. I went to visit my parents for four days and my dad and I played from 8am till 11 every dang day with breaks for food. Good good times. Also talesman holds a nostalgic place in my heart
comment in response to post
So this is a weird answer ok but I always thought the "creature" in the comedy movie evolution with David ducovney would make an excellent horror monster

Have a money producing card, a multiplication card. Try and lock in a major point winner and a minor one in case u fight a "boss" that scunners u. After that no clue you're in the advanced class lol.

Just started my second playthrough of veilguard taking a small pause while I decide who to romance this time. Bellara or lucanis. (While resisting the urge to date taash again)
