BUS STOP FORECAST: Mainly clear skies heading out the door on Monday Morning. Another cool start with 30s in the morning, but then we warm things up quickly. High temperatures heading into the 60s by the time we get to the afternoon. #MIWX

🌧️ RAIN CHANCES RETURN🌧️: It will be a dry week across the region, but our next chance of rain moves into the region just in time for next weekend. Expect rain to overspread the region Saturday morning and stick around most of the day! #MIWX

Hello, Spring!! It's been a minute since we've seen temperatures like this! While we make it into the 50s today, we will warm into the 60s over the next few days! We'll see a brief cool-down by the middle of the week due to a cool front, but that is short-lived! #MIWX

After a weak disturbance moved through the region last night, high pressure down to the South will keep us dry over the next few days. And on the back side of that, it will help bring in some of that warmer air sending our high temperatures well above average! #MIWX

JUST IN: NOAA has been notified by the Trump Administration to prepare to lose another 1,000 staff in the next month, in addition to the roughly 1,300 that resigned and were laid off in recent weeks, representing a 20% reduction in its nearly 13,000 workforce.

Comparing temperature heading out the door this morning from where we were on Saturday Morning, most of the region is running at least a few degrees warmer, but North of M-59, we're running at least 10° warmer waking up! #MIWX

WEATHER WHIPLASH: Moves back in looking ahead into next week. While we're only into the 30s for Sunday, we will warm-up into the 50s by the time we get to Wednesday, but that's when we have the rainfall moving in as well.. #MIWX

MIDWEEK RAINFALL: This one looks to be healthy dose of rainfall by Thursday Morning. Most places are looking at a half inch to 0.75" of rain, and there could be a few places closing in on 1" of rain before the colder air arrives. Enough to wash away the salt & snow on the ground! #MIWX

Once that rain moves through on Wednesday, we will see colder air move into the region late Wednesday and into Thursday Morning. This will change our rain showers over to some snow showers with falling temps into Thursday... #MIWX

Rain will overspread the region into the middle of the week on Wednesday. Some of that rain could be moderate to heavy overnight Tuesday night and into early Wednesday Morning as we head out the door to work and school... #MIWX

As we look ahead into our next rain chances on Tuesday, clouds will move in tomorrow, but expect rain showers to develop looking ahead into Tuesday Morning and Tuesday Afternoon... This is when we warm things up as well! #MIWX

We're starting off this Sunday Morning with a little bit of cloud cover and a little bit of sunshine! Temperatures are colder this morning than we were yesterday morning, but with sunshine, expect a warm-up by about 5-10 degrees this afternoon compared to Saturday! #MIWX

While the weekend looks dry save the chance for some snow showers, we are keeping the rain chances into the forecast looking ahead into the middle of next week. Temperatures rebounds well above average by Wednesday, then another round of colder temps by the end of the week! #MIWX

After our cold front moved through the region late last night, we've got a northwesterly flow sticking around the region for Saturday. This will keep a few snowflakes into the forecast with Winter Weather Advisories in effect for Northern Michigan for some accumulating snow.. #MIWX
