CalSSA helped tank rooftop solar in California. Why pick them as byline for PR? I get a lot of questions from blue states on NEM 3. CALSSA could have managed the transition and outcome much better, w/ being professional and constructive as core tenant. newsismybusiness.com/insight-gov-...

Heat pumps offer vast energy efficiency gains. They are 4x more efficient than gas boilers.

(Bloomberg) - Microsoft Corp. has begun canceling leases for a substantial amount of datacenter capacity in the US, a move that may reflect concerns about whether it’s building more AI computing than it will need over the long term, TD Cowen said in a report. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

The heat pump threads this weekend have me thinking about this washer- HP dryer set we bought a year ago. I nearly did a resistance dryer but glad I didn’t. This thing is A BEAST. We do an insane amount of laundry. I am not good about maintainence and it doesn’t care. Runs great, sips electricity.

All I want for Christmas is a cost-based TOU rate, @massgov.bsky.social ‘s DPU

I find it wild that people want to end institutions that reflect a time when the US was a far bigger part of the world economy, was flush with cash, and used it to advance its interests around the world. Were over repped in the UN. Like do we just want to be a ha-been in a multipolar world?

I was over at my sisters. They are customers of a municipal utility. They went on the whole home TOU rate - 50 cent on peak (4-8PM) and 5 cents all other hours. And here I am on all this “connected solutions” business with National Grid. Give me a cost based TOU rate and you can keep the VPP!

There’s a narrative that Gaetz was a deliberate head-fake — a distraction to boost the real candidate — but I am always suspicious of narratives that attribute four-dimensional chess to trump as opposed to knocking over the table and eating the checkers.
