This is a great thing to introduce. When I was starting out a teacher did a similar thing and it changed how I saw what makes a pot, got me away from “it’s not round,” and eventually lead me into handbuilding.

I worked in corporate for about 20 years so I get the “no one looks like me” attitude. And get asked a lot “did you have your big beard then?” Yes I did and I would have quit if they asked me to shave or take out my piercings. Know your worth and fight for what you deserve.
