The "first they came..." poem gets quoted and quoted and quoted and quoted and you know what, we do in fact know who they're coming for first, right now, and that is trans people, and the answer needs to be "absolutely the fuck not, you motherfuckers," full stop.

I always feel a bit weird reading stuff by/about millennials and younger-- it's like it's relatable and I don't really like that? It feels like having a mirror held up to the worst parts of me, the parts that feel stunted, ineffectual, self-absorbed. The mortifying ordeal of being known etc. etc.

I often find bleak cosmic horror comforting because it reminds me how insignificant my little human problems are, but I don't know how common that is.

Okay, someone help me out here-- what is the genesis of the "rich family murdering each other" trope? It happens a LOT-- Umineko, Ready or Not, Knives Out (sort of), that season of Slasher with David Cronenberg-- but Fall of the House of Usher isn't actually about that? I've had one beer pls help

I watched The Final Chapter! Loved it. Just the purest distilled 80s slasher tropes. Watching Crispin Glover play a remotely normal person, even an awkward nerdy one, was odd, though. I kept expecting HIM to go on a rampage.
