I think this might have to do with a temporary fix for another bug (a number of were frequently getting redirected to popup ads despite not clicking on them). After getting rid of all ads, uBlock Origin, Adblock Ad Blocker Pro, the Brave browser seems to cause this issue.

Grouping each mini arc into "episodes" has really done me favors. Turns out breaking big projects into small chunks at a time helps with getting them done! It also lets me do some really fun things like styling it after a TV show with episode title cards and next episode teasers.

Then one of those stories grew much longer, and I felt like it deserved character and story arcs leading up to it. That's when I realized I had almost enough of those short stories to string together to do just that! So that's about when I started writing Galactiquest seriously.

Originally it was a comic, but I could not get any comic past 20 pages. And I didn't have much direction for where I wanted things to go other than disconnected plot beats/character traits. So I just stuck to writing those as short stories for myself.
