Twenty one million million people? Wow. A lot of them must have come from elsewhere in the solar system as twenty one million million is many times the population of the planet. Then again, it’s a Trump number so doubtless it’s just made up on the spot.

The BBC have fact checked every claim Trump made wrt white farmers in South Africa. Every claim he made was a lie.
Even the photo he used of farmer being buried was a lie. It was a Reuters image from a completely different country. The man doesn’t have an honest bone in his body. Not one.

I just wish Trump was given the time to finish his sentences. Obviously Trump was saying “If they were black, I'd do the exact same thing (as I do with other ethnic groups that aren’t white. I’d move them to the El Salvador Hilton suites).”

To be fair, Mr Peterson has interrogated the data, and seems to have grasped the “effect” side of the equation readily enough.
However, he seems to have difficulty joining the dots in order to determine the “cause” component.

So Trump claims Tariff money is pouring into the United States. Do his backers still not grasp that zero tariff money is pouring into the States? It’s Americans who pay the tariffs, no-one else. It’s money that is already in the US.

Breathtaking. I will say it again. As a Brit, I always believed the USA was an exemplar democracy. Now Trump has shown me that only applies up to the election. Thereafter, it’s amongst the very worse kind of elected dictatorship based (just like Russia) on self enrichment. It beggars belief.

I naively thought that the United States was a fully functioning democracy. I didn’t understand that was only true up until the election, and then the option was there for the President to turn it into an elected dictatorship. That’s exactly how Hitler operated too.

One comment, and I am gone. From the British side of the pond, I worry that Democrats seem to be adopting a policy of resistance. Worked in France in 1942. Trouble is, you are in Germany in 1934. The DP needs to get its ducks in a row. Be an opposition, not a resistance.
