Fair! I'm mostly able-bodied afaik, but my family history is kinda terrible so I'm always on the lookout for any sign of heart problems
I also tend to assume when something's happening it's because something is wrong with ME, not because it's a normal thing (even when it is)

Now I'm wondering if the solution is an old business laptop (like a 2019/newer thinkpad) + a pc handheld. If gaming laptops really are like $1600+, you might still come ahead (somehow)
or maybe if your gaming needs really are low enough, you could get a non-gaming laptop with dGPU w/ 32gb RAM

tbh you might wanna consider a gaming handheld, especially now that Valve lets you throw Steam OS on to whatever so you can have a decent mobile gaming experience

look I've been using Linux on and off since 2013 or so, and full time for years now; it's so much easier than it used to be, like so insanely easier, even if the ways of doing things are sometimes different
just be wary if you play stuff like genshin or marvel rivals, some anti cheats dont work
