It was sort of his first sleazy rock environ, late-night show, to be more exact. An incredibly kind, supportive, and positive vibe in the space tho! Still hard to fathom for veterans of the 90s.

The replies not catching the sarcasm, or criticizing points that aren’t made in the post, convince me that this site has the juice. That’s good chaos. If everyone is “getting it” then you might as well be in a private club.

You have to be so convinced in your racism that you’re willing, as an ostensible statesman, to attack your own country’s primary economic and cultural engines. It’s impossible to square with any definition of patriotism.

This is why progressive protesters are such heroes. Like schoolteachers, they are rarely thanked in the moment, if they are not outright attacked or abused, but their deferred importance is incalculable.

The series is called “ethnographic” bc the graphic novel is based on real events, which were narrated or experienced thru ethnography. Cool project.

Realized after posting just how many specific stories this could refer to today!

Well ya know complicated topic, wouldn’t want to get too too romantic about it. Music’s always a little bit of an empty signifier, alas.

Rubio, of course, won't (and can't) listen to good advice like this, but it matters to show numbers.
