It's throw everything at the wall o'clock.

April action: What if everyone cancels one streaming service and repurposes the money for a subscription/monthly donation to an independent media outlet?

@nondriver.bsky.social Have you seen this? www.washington.edu/news/2025/03...

Was late for the @seattletru.bsky.social #handsoff action that started at Angle Lake, so I went to the big one at Seattle Center. There were THOUSANDS of people there.

🎯

It's fascinating to me what people perceive as "safe" versus "unsafe." I won't argue that there are no issues with transit because I live them, but there is SO MUCH DATA about the dangers of cars that people either ignore or view as acceptable daily risk. This is about making us afraid of each other

Bus drivers are easily my favorite category of human, and there are few I actively dislike, with one exception. My least favorite driver ever is someone who's been driving the 48 for decades. He's so mean, he even drives mean. I can always tell it's him by the aggressive way he pulls up at the stop.

So... there's a special election on the 22nd? The first I heard about it was when I received my ballot in the mail last night.

What's your favorite independent media source? Now is a good time to support them with actual dollars. I canceled Netflix and moved the subscription money to @translash.org, canceled Hulu to support @truthout.org, and was already supporting @realchangenews.bsky.social. #TruthOverTV

Electra Hug, 24, who ... is blind, wanted to be close to public transit and have a sense of community. It’s the first time she’s lived without the assistance of family and friends. “[To] have a good time or have fun, I do not have to cross the street,” Ms. Hug said. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/25/c...

Weekend adventures involved our usual suspects (8,48, 27), a couple of Link rides, and a bit of novelty (ST 545, CT 119).

Yesterday I was in despair. Today, I am feeling a bit of hope. Gratitude to all the humans doing the damn thing out there. Also feeling happy because I'm going on a bus adventure to Bear Creek with my crew this afternoon. Love that we still do these, even though they're 15 and 17 now. ❤️

$10 or $20 monthly donations go FAR here, folks! ➡️ givebutter.com/sfd25

I've been off social media since the Twitter takeover and only joined Bluesky a week ago, so I have no "influence" to speak of. But, I have an idea for a fairly low-barrier collective action and nowhere else to share it. So, here goes.

I'm late, but it's never too late to send love to bus drivers. Heartfelt thanks to all the KC Metro MVPs. 🚍❤️
