That’s fair, but that was my childhood. Cliff Huxtable having an office adjacent to his house was game changing.

A pretty good list. I loved The Courtship of Eddie’s Father and Dan Conner is a great dad. He rises further in The Conners. Missing here, IMO, are John Walton and Steve Douglass fro My Three Sons. Honorable mention to Uncle Charlie from MTS and Uncle Bill (and Mr French) from Family Affair.

It’s 4/4 timing. One could march to the beat should they choose to. “Fortunate Son…[has] a tempo of 132 BPM. It can also be used half-time at 66 BPM or double-time at 264 BPM. …It has high energy and is somewhat danceable with a time signature of 4 beats per bar”.

"Approximately 70 percent of intimate partner homicides involve a gun and the presence of a gun in a domestic violence situation increases the chance that the victim will die by 500 percent." The intersection of domestic violence and easy access to guns is a lethal one indeed. 4/

Pieces in same color palette that make multiple outfits. Outfits work with 1 (max 2) pair of shoes (1 you’re wearing on the plain). Hang clothes after wearing to air. Minimal makeup and toiletries. Packing cubes and roll your clothes. It’s a skill, but it sets you free.

I went back and reread the lyrics yesterday. I’m the generation that grew up watching Vietnam and anti war protests in the evening news. Fortunate son isn’t just an anti war protest song, it’s also calling out privileged draft dodgers.

Even if some of its vintage, did no one have an oil can? Perhaps a flag or 2 would add a splash of color? I guess WD 40 isn’t a sponsor.

FTR, Charles bday is in Nov. Trooping the Colour is generally, but not always, in the sovereign’s birthday. Not sure what’s behind this timing, but it’s some 5 star shade 😎

It’s bizarrely disappointing to me that there is no mention of the Marines being an invasion force. These are the first on the beach troops.
