Maybe don't assume everyone is against making positive changes before you fly off the handle. If you were incarcerated they obviously put you into an inappropriate facility and you weren't evaluated correctly. Ignoring the epidemic of mental health problems and homelessness isn't the answer either.
comment in response to post
So your answer is to leave people who need help in the streets to fend for themselves and not try to get them help?
comment in response to post
You're assuming that mental health professionals in an appropriate facility with proper standards of care wouldn't make a proper assessment and release them or recommend a shelter. Better funding, better facilities of course, but you can't just ignore people who need help.
comment in response to post
Oh get over yourself. Fix the system, yes. How and what parts is the challenge of course but if you're just here to complain about something you're unwilling to try to fix then you are the problem as much as the system is right now.
comment in response to post
So just let people who need mental help fend for themselves then? Maybe fixing the standards and facilities is closer to the answer. Sorry for your experience, but we can't stop trying to help people who need it.
comment in response to post
Well, the other extreme is to just let those unwilling or without the capacity to recognize they need mental help fend for themselves. That's cruelty in a different form. What's the solution?
comment in response to post
Doubtful but ok, good for you if there is even a grain of truth in there somewhere. Every little bit helps make this a better world. Keep up the good work.

$2.6m a day to charities from that club. Try giving back to your community some time, it'll help with that void in your life you are filling with this foolishness. Get you out of the house once in a while too, see real people and the such.

What a great imagination you have. It's like watching a 6 year old dream up realities to work through their problems. Fascinating really but the notifications are a little distracting and I have to work so have a great day!
comment in response to post
What a tool. Good luck bud.
comment in response to post
Whatever you need to get you through your day there chief. Get well soon.
comment in response to post
Blah blah blah. Get a life Loser.
comment in response to post
Yet here you are. The big L, chirping away. I had forgotten about you too. Get help bud, you're way too angry.
comment in response to post
Now go take your meds, you're off the rails.
comment in response to post
That's some awesome projection there Chachi. Keep your hate burning, it's keeping me warm inside.
comment in response to post
Still competing? Damn, get a life already.
comment in response to post
I know a lot of GenX lefties, but I am in Kennedy country up here where we remember the dream and laugh at the nephew. Most are really not into politics or social media though (except for FB for convenience) so I can see where they aren't on anyone's radar that don't know them in person.
comment in response to post
I believe when a person of certain ilk calls you an asshole, it's a point of pride. I've had some good laughs at you with a few guys already. Can't wait to catch them up tomorrow.
comment in response to post
See a doctor, they'll fix you right up for all these circles you're supposedly running. You're probably just low on blood sugar. Ask your mom to make you a pop-tart or something.
comment in response to post
Because insulting people is what you're all about. Nice life kiddo. Be better.
comment in response to post
Even funnier, you think we're competing for something. You really need a life.
comment in response to post
You're so angry about all this. Go take your meds already. The scary real world is out there you know.
comment in response to post
Boy are you laughably off base. Take you pills kid.
comment in response to post
Exactly my earlier point, plenty of safe spaces for you downy soft types. God forbid anyone challenges your craven ideas. I'm sure you take some pill or another for that though, or maybe you should.
comment in response to post
Damn, that mom's basement shit really hurt you, didn't it? Sorry bud, but say whatever you want, if you don't love yourself, you can't love anything. Work on that.
comment in response to post
You must have awesome internal conflicts.
comment in response to post
Maybe try having an AA meeting someplace actually public like the sidewalk or a public park and having an expectation of privacy. Meeting rooms aren't open to the public even in public buildings. Of course you'd know that if you got out of the basement once in a while but here we are.
comment in response to post
It's enough, and the effects are obvious, all angry and shit. Take a breath.
comment in response to post
Why would I do that? You're a strange person. Angry too. Work on that.
comment in response to post
What a silly example. Try again.
comment in response to post
Shouldn't you be playing video games down in your mom's basement right now?
comment in response to post
You beta types are very terrible and violence. You should probably skate your lane.
comment in response to post
Maybe in your video game fantasy world. That I would agree with you on.
comment in response to post
You sound vulnerable and may need that level of insulation from the world around you so block away.
comment in response to post
Again, privacy is easy. Social media is almost the opposite of where to look for it. I'm sure you're on your phone and have plenty of options to "curate your experience".
comment in response to post
You guys are silly to think that word has to do with gender.
comment in response to post
Oooo, look at this guy! Privacy expectations of your posts while you're using a social media app is what the discussion was about, for context. You can still think Gsnacks is clever though, they're looking for affirmation. Give them a like!
comment in response to post
And yet here you are. Oddly ironical retort my friend.
comment in response to post
I doubt that very much.
comment in response to post
You seem like the kind of person that needs a private account.
comment in response to post
This is amazing, maybe screen shot it and post it to all your socials. Self affirmation is good for the ego.
comment in response to post
Live the passion.
comment in response to post
There you go, sure, if the partiers are telling me they want privacy when they go there I'd have the same take. Privacy is easy when you make appropriate venue choices.
comment in response to post
I now have coffee in my nose. Thanks for the laugh.
comment in response to post
Private homes are a terrible example. Try having a party in a public park with thousands of other people around and having the expectation of privacy. It's just a bad venue choice.
comment in response to post
Well, if they need to know whether or not I'm an asshole, I can confirm that directly too.
comment in response to post
So you block the person, or get better ideas for your self aggrandizement.
comment in response to post
Just found that out, never considered it as something necessary on a social platform. I mean, private thoughts are easy to keep private. Why would you use any platform designed to share with a wide audience? It's like hiding behind a dumpster in Times square on NYE because you don't like people.
comment in response to post
Who knew there were so many people too fragile to have their ideas challenged? Good for you!
comment in response to post
Go back to Facebook then. X and this place are more oriented to the free exchange of ideas, even when you don't like them.
