I love the box art, but I really wish the Switch 2 version didn't have a paragraph of text at the bottom.

Super disappointing, you and the rest of the cast were perfect.

I really, really hope that the rest of the game continues to be this amazing. Because so far, this has just been incredible.
Please, anyone who hasn't yet, play this.

If you haven't played it, or the Xenoblade series already, please do so. It's some of the most magical and memorable experiences I've ever had with a franchise. Do yourself a massive favor.
9/10, fantastic work as usual, Monolith Soft. Perfect game to end my Switch 1 on.

However, I've got a feeling this won't be the last time we see these characters...
And I won't speak on some of the crazy reveals, but whatever Takahashi and Monolith Soft have cooking up, I'm all for it. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for this series. (8/?)

When it comes to the new epilogue, without any major spoilers, I really liked it. I can completely understand why it turns some people off though. Without going into too many details, it does sort of feels like it hijacks X's plot and leaves a lot of things unanswered. (7/?)

Tyrants, whatever it may be, the exploration is still by and large one of the best I've ever played in a video game.
It's not perfect, obviously. In fact, certain things like the AI I wish DE touched up on more. But where the game succeeds, it really does and then some. (6/?)

The actual world and exploration is still amazing. Mira is breathtaking to explore, even moreso when you get your Skell and can start flying. The sheer open-endedness of this is still wild to me, and I never got tired of just finding new things, whether it was caves, (5/?)

-but DE tweaks, adds, or removes certain things entirely that makes it way better. Combat, due to the new Quick Cooldown, never felt so good. And while something like the UI improvements might be small to some, they really do a lot, especially with things like Overdrive. (4/?)

-in it's side content. Not all of it lands (blue missions,) but X has some of the single best sidequests I've played. I do think there's just a tad too many, but damn, I was engaged throughout most of them.
When it came to the gameplay, X already stood strongly in the OG- (3/?)

Definitive Edition has given me newfound appreciation for this title as a whole. While still not my favorite and I prefer the other numbered games, X:DE is an amazing experience. The main story, while still not my favorite, is still enjoyable. But the heart of this game is- (2/?)

The final vote: 51-45, with 4 people absent.
CLOTURE FAILS, A CONGRESSIONAL SPORTS BAN WILL NOT HAPPEN.
Democrats hold firm, not a single dem voted for cloture.
MAJOR victory for everyone who called in today and this week in support of trans people.

They didn't during the election, they don't now. It's ridiculous the amount of sane-washing they do.

Really hoping Mario Kart doesn't overshadow it, because I love what I'm seeing so far.

I will say, depending on when this releases, I could see Mario Kart 9 completely overshadowing this. Kind of like how Wonder overshadowed Superstars.
Hoping not though.

I think I remember making a tweet at the time where I said it was the most nothing-burger controversy ever.
And I was right because nobody gave a shit lol
