I was actually influenced by another fic author to think of it that way! the circle of fanfiction lmaooo I was like that is a GREAT point actually, he definitely would have great reason to feel abandoned and angry even though he does still love them. it would be a huge thing to tackle!!! meaty

YESSS I think about this constantly and wrote about it once, it's so good. I love complicating the return a little lol. Like yeah they're gonna get to be happy and they have been through enough...but they gotta process it 🥰 and work through things
