We boycotted S Africa and its sports teams for years, quite rightly. Afghanistan should have the same treatment. The world cannot abandon Afghan women and girls and allow Afghanistan to retain normal relationships with other nations. It has to stop.

Obviously Trump is trying to turn his unconditional discharge into a “not guilty” verdict. It isn’t, he’s been found guilty and the discharge is technical - they can’t send a president to jail. BBC PM prog are allowing the “not guilty” narrative to run, allowing Trump supporters to cry “witch hunt!”
