Mr B’s just said there’s no room in the garage to store one if I buy it now though.

A friend, who is a couple of years younger than me, was really horrified when I bought the tickets for us to go into an exhibition and they gave us both seniors without asking. Tbf my hair has been completely grey for years but it was still a harsh blow.

There are so many absolutely superb theatre sets and stage effects these days. The staging of La Belle Sauvage via NTLive was probably my favourite.

I saw them at the local cinema via NTLive which is almost as good as being there in the flesh.

Yes Jan! With the way things appear to be moving over the pond, Gilead and Offred’s story doesn’t seem to be as far-fetched as it should.

It’s a real ménage à trois.

Haha no. I don’t know if seagulls take partners for life but every year a trio of them set up house on the roof opposite and nest. Could it be the same three each year?

I’m not sure of the actor’s name but Cassian Pugh has such a smackable, smug face doesn’t he?

Afternoon Michael. I was looking forward to this, despite previously getting a teeny bit bored of the Sandy strand, but nearly didn’t carry on watching after the first episode. However, I’m glad I did as the last couple of episodes were well worth the watch. m.imdb.com/title/tt1163...

I’ve had a bit of a break from Doctor Who, not sure exactly why, but I’ve really enjoyed the first two episodes.

I pointed my No Cold Calling sticker out to one guy selling household goods and he told me he couldn’t read.

Seemed that way George 😳

Not in our gaff it isn’t 😉

I don’t normally say this this but, imho, the film is almost as good as the book so don’t beat yourself up.

I’ve ordered Jess Kidd’s book and I like Simon Brett’s cosy crime, which is funny and clever, so yes, fingers crossed.
