Today’s paper had a warning for Americans not to travel to Nicaragua because it is “sinking deeper into authoritarianism.” So Americans should feel right at home, eh? Did they realize the irony in printing that?

Sigh. Another kerfluffle in Calif high school sports & a transgender girl competing. Can’t we just let kids compete in sports w/o worrying about the “fairness” of someone marked male at birth competing? Sports is inherently unfair. Short, fat me could never win against long-legged folks. That’s ok?

If anyone is reading for the Hugo and is put off by the large letters in the middle of the text the publisher put on each page of The Tainted Cup, the ebook is just $1.99 at Barnes & Noble right now most likely it’s the same at Amazon and other e-vendors
