It's time we closed these tax loopholes and taxed our resources properly.
In doing so, we could fund investment in services like our health and education systems and remake Australia as the 'lucky' country we ought to be. #auspol

Can you ask the Treasurer to address this obvious rip-off?

Still waiting to hear from the Treasurer @jimchalmers.bsky.social on the economic benefits of this mining operation to the public purse.

Where does @jimchalmers.bsky.social stand on this massive loss of revenue to our nation? It is the most obvious rip-off.

As disappointed as I am about the environmental impacts (VERY), why are these operations STILL allowed to proceed without adequate revenue back to our nation? Where is Jim Chalmers concern for Cost of Living in all this? HECS could be wiped out instead of excessive profits going overseas.

Me too. A great contributor to the Star Trek TOS & TNG novel series. He “got” what we wanted from the franchise.

Cowardly treachery by Albo. Very disappointed. Maybe a Greens minority with a strong crossbench of independents?

I’m not at all worried about Dutton. I think he’s toast, by his own undertaking.

I went to university for free in 1979-1981.
Labour introduced HECS in 1989. LNP have left this in place.
Royalties from mining gas could eliminate all HECS debt, making housing more affordable. #auspol

A cowardly act by Albo.

Why do we need political advertising? Only the parties and billionaires can afford it. We all have social media now. Let everyone post their policies online without lies or spin, as my local independent has done.

This one of the top issues for me in this election. And only the independents are taking it seriously. For too long power and greed have overridden our national interest. We could have had a sovereign wealth fund like Norway.

We need a PM who stands up for current agreements. Let them re-negotiate at the expiration of current terms, based on relevant criteria.
